Historical gem with lots of atmosphere. Bad Cannstatt owes its name to its numerous mineral springs and to its heyday as a famous health spa. Still today Stuttgart's inhabitants and visitors from elsewhere enjoy the beneficial effects of the water at mineral baths such as the Leuze, MineralBad Cannstatt and Mineralbad Berg. With its large and small spa halls (Großer and Kleiner Kursaal), both dispose of a stage, and the Thouret Hall, the neoclassical Kursaal building in Stuttgart's Bad Cannstatt district can provide the appropriate setting for every event. The fountain courtyard (Brunnenhof), the bandshell in the spa park, the covered walkway and a restaurant with a beer garden create an elegant ambience and can be utilised in a variety of ways.
