Information on Coronavirus

Latest information

Germany continues to lead the way for the re-introduction and delivery of safe events. In Stuttgart we keep on taking further cautious steps towards a (new) normality. The State Government just released an updated ordiance on Infection Protection Measures against the Spread of the SARS-CoV-2 Virus.

This means for the event industry in Stuttgart:

  • from 1 August, meetings and events with less than 500 people are allowed again
  • from 1 September exhibitions and conventions with more than 500 delegates are allowed
  • distance rules and safety protocols must be in place
  • exhibitions must provide space of 7 square meters per visitor on the show floor
  • exhibitions smaller than 200 square meters need to provide a concept assuring safety if the 7 square meters cannot be provided.
  • mouth and nose protection mandatory where distance of 1.5 meters is not possible
  • clear communication of rules and safety procedures for all delegates

Venues and hotels operate with safety and hygienic protocols and support event organisers in terms of their individual safety concept for the event.

Travelers from risk countries according to the classification of the Robert Koch Institute have to quarantine themselves for 14 days immediately upon arrival.
